This is probably due to the ground not connected to the back of the headlight switch which I may try and ground to a diff location which may be the similar to the problem I had with the courtesy lights. Butt the brake lights rrbrake switch and nothing changed. 1997 dodge intrepid justbought used seems fine but interior lights no work-check fuse ok checked bulbs ok-could it be realted to headlight switch or dimmer control thanks-great site for help.
It is a black box with three connectors behind the drivers side kick panel.

Allso cruse control modual is cliking when i push on the switch button with my finger. When one or more interior lights stop working and the others still work just fine the problem is usually just a burned out bulb.
